UPDATED 6:21 p.m.
Multiple people were found dead at a property management company in North Dakota on Monday, the same day a post was made on the company’s Facebook page announcing it would be closed for the day.
Fox News reports that the Mandan Police Department said in a news release that officers responding to a medical call found “several people who were deceased inside” RJR Maintenance and Management in Mandan, reportedly a short distance from Bismarck.
The exact number of those found dead or the causes of death are not yet known.
On Monday morning, a post appeared on the RJR Maintenance and Management’s Facebook page announcing it would be closed for the day but offering no explanation.
The Facebook post has generated dozens of comments, including one from someone who says both their parents work at the company, and that neither have been reachable.
The manager of a nearby bowling alley told Fox News that police had asked for surveillance footage and said that cameras at his business had picked up only a few cars traveling on the road to RJR Maintenance and Management since Sunday night.
This is a developing story. CrimeOnline will provide further updates when more information is available.
An earlier version of this story stated that the Facebook post was published before the bodies were found, but emerging information indicates that police found the bodies early in the morning, before the timestamp on the Facebook post.
