A woman in Tennessee was arrested earlier this month for allegedly breaking into and vandalizing her boyfriend’s home shortly after he ended his relationship with her.
Madison Rogers, 21, was jailed June 7 on burglary and vandalism charges for a May 31 incident which reportedly occurred at her boyfriend’s home. Metro Nashville police arrived at the residence and spoke with Rogers’ boyfriend, who claimed he broke up with her hours earlier and that she kicked down his door and began assaulting him, according to Scoop Nashville.
The boyfriend said he restrained Rogers and carried her out of the home before calling 911. From outside, Rogers reportedly asked him if he “liked the upstairs.” The boyfriend recalled checking upstairs and finding his bedroom, bathroom, and closet were “destroyed,” according to a report obtained by the news outlet.
Security footage allegedly showed Rogers breaking into the home through the back door shortly before her boyfriend arrived. Rogers reportedly fled the scene after being removed from the residence.
Rogers, who was in the top five of Hooters’ state pageant in April, was released from custody after posting $5,000 bond. The New York Daily News reported that she’s scheduled to appear in court on July 7.
