Authorities in Florida say a reality television personality was arrested this week on suspicion of indecent exposure and shattering a car window.
According to TMZ, Nilsa Prowant, one of the stars of MTV’s “Floribama Shore,” is accused of hanging out in an area of St. Petersburg early on Saturday morning and flashing her breasts at passersby in an attempt to attract their attention.
That alleged stunt reportedly prompted police officers who were among the witnesses to tell her she needed to leave the premises, which they claim caused her to become confrontational with them.
Eventually, Prowant reportedly got into a vehicle to leave but remained aggressive and began kicking a rear door window. When the glass broke, police reportedly stepped in again — this time placing her under arrest. Inquisitr cited a police report that shows she is believed to have been intoxicated at the time.
She is expected to face misdemeanor criminal counts of exposing her sexual organs and disorderly conduct. Court records indicate bail was set at $400 and she was released from jail later the same morning after posting that amount.
The MTV series, a spin-off of “The Jersey Shore,” is reportedly in the midst of filming for its upcoming season, set to premiere later this year. It was not clear from available reports whether any cameras were on Prowant at the time of her arrest.
