Authorities in California say a man has been arrested on suspicion of violently attacking two neighbors in a stabbing that left one victim dead.
According to KTLA, 39-year-old Daniel Morales is accused of perpetrating the deadly incident on Friday morning, though police did not provide many additional details in initial reports.
Officers reportedly responded to the location on West Kendall Drive in San Bernardino at about 5:30 a.m. after receiving a complaint of a possible stabbing and shooting. Upon arrival, authorities discovered two victims. Eric Aguilera, 31, was reportedly already dead.
The other individual was not identified, but officials say the individual is expected to survive the injuries sustained during the attack.
Police reportedly caught Morales the following day and are treating the case as “an isolated incident between neighbors,” as reported by the San Bernardino County Sun.
