Mom missing after getting into truck with unknown driver, dog found miles away from home

Authorities in Louisiana are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who they said was last seen by relatives on May 30.

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office said Kasey Lane Bigum, 35, was spotted leaving her Marksville home and getting into a red pickup truck being driven by an unknown person. Bigum had left with her White Blue Heeler dog, which was later found in Pointe County, according to WAFB.

Though police haven’t provided a recent update regarding Bigum’s disappearance, loved ones said on Facebook as recently as Tuesday evening that they are still looking for Bigum.
