A man in Florida is accused of breaking into the home of his wife’s lover, tying him up, and cutting off his penis—before fleeing the scene with the severed body part.
According to WFTS, Gilchrist County deputies who were en route to the stabbing call Sunday learned that the victim told dispatchers that Alex Bonilla, 49, had broken into his home and severed his penis. The victim reportedly told responding officers that Bonilla threatened to kill him if he resisted before taking him to his bedroom, tying him up, and cutting off his penis with scissors.
Bonilla, who allegedly took off with the victim’s penis, was reportedly apprehended hours after the 911 call. WBBH reported Bonills had broken in with a gun and two children were at the home at the time of the incident.
An arrest report acquired by WFTS stated that Bonilla “was found to have caught the victim and the [Bonilla’s] wife during sexual intercourse” in May.
Deputies said the victim remains hospitalized. Meanwhile, Bonilla is facing several charges, including burglary, kidnapping/false imprisonment, and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $1.25 million.
