Authorities in Oregon had some fun at the expense of an alleged drunk driver they say engaged in some brazenly illegal behavior right in front of a sheriff’s sergeant.
According to Yahoo, 23-year-old Elianna Aguilar-Aguilar is accused of driving up to the window of a Taco Bell and pouring alcohol into the mouth of an employee inside.
A social media statement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office indicated that she was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant after registering a .12 blood-alcohol content — about 50 percent higher than the legal limit.
The Cornelius resident “rolls through a Taco Bell drive-thru RIGHT IN FRONT OF A SHERIFF’F OFFICE SERGEANT and then reaches through the open drive-thru window and pours alcohol into the employee’s mouth WHILE STILL IN HER CAR,” the agency wrote.
As for the drive-thru worker, Deputy Brian van Kleef said “most of it was spilled on him,” adding that an investigation found “he actually didn’t consume the Hennessy.”
Police do not believe the suspect and the Taco Bell worker previously knew each other.
The law enforcement agency pegged the alleged crime its “WEIRDEST DUII ARREST OF THE WEEKEND.”
Aguilar-Aguilar was reportedly booked into Washington County Jail before she was released on Tuesday.
