An Oklahoma news outlet caught the moment an alleged child molester was handcuffed and taken to jail.
Oklahoma’s News 4 was on the scene Friday when police arrested Dillon Solomon, a Tecumseh man accused of sexually assaulting two children. According to Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office Dep. Dakota Etiere, both children, who are unrelated to Solomon, named him during a SANE exam with nurses.
Solomon told the outlet that he’s innocent and that the entire ordeal has been a misunderstanding.
“DHS worker came in to talk to us,” Solomon reportedly said. “This is all a misunderstanding… A misunderstanding that shouldn’t have got dragged out.”
Etiere disagreed. She added that she “absolutely” believes the children.
“I believe the children, absolutely,” Dep. Etiere said. “I mean children are so vulnerable to a lot of things and personal experiences, the younger kids, I mean it`s hard to believe that they`re lying about something that they`ve never witnessed before.”
Solomon has been charged with lewd or indecent proposal or acts with a child under the age of 16, as well as exploitation or sexual abuse of a child.
