UPDATE: Nalani Johnson: More arrests possible after missing tot girl found dead in park [Police]
A Pennsylvania toddler who disappeared on Saturday afternoon has been found deceased, CBS Pittsburgh reports.
Nalani Johnson, 1, has reportedly been found at the Pine Ridge Park in Indiana County. The toddler’s father, Paul Johnson, reported her missing Saturday after accused kidnapper, Sharena Nancy, allegedly fled in her car with the little girl after giving Johnson and a friend a ride.
The Indiana County Coroner is currently at the scene, which has been cordoned off by crime scene tape.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 25-year-old Nancy has been charged with concealment of whereabouts of a child, interference with custody, and kidnapping. Police detained Nancy on Saturday night after the 1-year-old Nalani’s father, Paul Johnson, reported her missing.
Additional charges may follow.
On Tuesday, authorities said Johnson and Nancy were in an “intermittent” romantic relationship. An apparent argument broke out inside of Nancy’s vehicle before she allegedly fled with Johnson’s child. Nancy is not related to the little girl.
The cause of death is pending. Check back for further details.
