A father in New York is facing animal cruelty and child endangerment charges after he allegedly killed his children’s cat and sent them a photo of the dead animal.
WKBW reports that Antonio Martin, 40, was arrested on Sunday morning after he allegedly killed his three children’s cat by hanging it from the children’s bed in their home in Buffalo. He then sent photos of the dead cat to all three children, according to the report.
Martin reportedly admitted to the crime, but authorities have not yet released a motive for the act of cruelty. The ages of Martin’s children are also unknown at this time.
Martin was charged with two counts of child endangerment and one count of animal cruelty. It is unclear if or where Martin is currently in custody.
