A California man is behind bars after police say he arrived at a police station and admitted he killed four people, then confessed one of the victims was with him.
FOX News reports that the unidentified man drove more than 200 miles to the Mt. Shasta Police Department, walked in the lobby and told authorities he had a dead body in his car. The man indicated he killed four people in Rossville, police confirmed, and left three of the people behind at his apartment.
After the man showed police a dead body inside the trunk of his car, Mt. Shasta officers notified officers with the Roseville Police Department and gave them the address the suspect provided. When officers arrived at an apartment off of the 1800 block of Junction Blvd., they discovered the other bodies.
Police said the victims were known to each other, but theirs have not yet been released.
Roseville Police Capt. Josh Simon said that the sole suspect in the killings is behind bars. There is no threat to the community at this time.
Additional details are expected to be released today. Check back for further updates.
