A New Jersey man charged with manslaughter in the death of a woman he was having rough sex with took a photograph of the woman’s body after she fell unconscious and posted it to social media, NJ.com reported.
Superior Court Judge Margaret Foti revealed the existence of the photo, allegedly posted to Snapchat, in court on Friday as she denied bond for Michael Gaffney, 21.
“Just (expletive) this bitch. She passed out. I don’t know what to do,” Foti said, reading the post.
Gaffney is charged with choking Francis Veronica Garcia, 19, while they were having sex in the back of her car on November 2. An autopsy said Garcia died from neck compression, as CrimeOnline previously reported.
According to court documents, Gaffney told investigators he and Garcia had been having “rough sex” for about 20 minutes when he put his hands around her neck and she lost consciousness. Later, he contacted friends and told them Garcia wasn’t breathing.
The two had been to a party prior to leaving to go to Garcia’s car. Her blood alcohol level was .256, the medical examiner said.
Adam Lustberg, Gaffney’s attorney, said in court on Friday he wanted to see a “more detailed autopsy report.”
