A 3-year-old girl and a woman were the victims of a fatal attack Wednesday night in Wisconsin.
The Post Crescent reports that a 27-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl were found severely injured on North Kensington Drive in Appleton at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. WHBY reports that both the victims suffered stab wounds. According to multiple reports, the little girl died after being rushed to a hospital, and the woman is being treated for her injuries.
Appleton Police Department spokesperson Megan Cash confirmed to the Post Crescent that the 27-year-old woman is pregnant, but could not provide any updates on her condition.
WHBY reports that a suspect, 25-year-old Demetrius Williams, was located at a nearby gas station and taken into custody. He is reportedly known to the victims, but authorities have not specified the nature of the relationship.
