Police in Suffolk County discovered human remains in the yard of a Long Island home on Sunday night.
Newsday reports that Suffolk County police responded to a 911 call regarding a home in Centereach on Sunday evening. Responding officers reportedly uncovered human remains from the backyard of the home.
According to the report, authorities have not released details about the grisly discovery: It is not known whether the remains belong to a male or a female, or how long the remains are believed to have been in the yard.
