A 10-year-old boy in New York was arrested on Monday for allegedly sexually abusing a 19-year-old woman as she slept.

On Monday, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that they arrested the juvenile suspect on first-degree sexual assault charges. Police started investigating the incident on Thursday, three days after the boy allegedly assaulted the woman as she slept in a Utica home.

The boy’s identity wasn’t disclosed, presumably due to his age. His relationship to the victim is also unknown.

Police said the boy was issued an appearance ticket and released. The victim has requested an order of protection.

The boy’s expected to answer to the felony charges at Oneida County Youth Probation at a later date.
