San Antonio authorities are investigating after the father of small children made a gruesome discovery Monday morning.
KENS 5 reports that the father of two children, ages 3 and 5, showed up at his ex-wife’s Sedona Ranch apartment off of Henderson Pass on Monday morning, and peered through the blinds after he couldn’t reach her by phone. He immediately called 911 after seeing a ghastly scene inside the apartment.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said that an unidentified 38-year-old woman shot her two children, her 68-year-old mother, and then herself after she lost a custody battle. The woman didn’t have a history of violence, according to her husband.
“She recently lost custody. Very recently lost custody of the two children,” McManus said during a Monday press conference. “(She) killed both children, her mother and then herself.”
It’s still unclear what day the shootings took place. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
