British authorities are investigating after they reportedly found a human torso inside a suitcase on Tuesday.
The man and woman, who authorities have not publicly identified, were allegedly found hauling the suitcase near the English-Welsh border in Gloucestershire. Since then, additional human remains were discovered in the surrounding area in the Forest of Dean, according to the Daily Mail.
The Independent reports that the officer stopped the pair after spotting them suspiciously walking along a road with the suitcase.
The man was described as being in his 30s, while the woman was said to be in her 20s. Since their arrests on suspicion of murder charges, the Gloucestershire Constabulary reportedly said authorities have been granted a 36-hour extension to question the pair.
The Daily Mail reported that police have cordoned off a large area on the outskirts of Coleman as part of their investigation.
Authorities are in the process of identifying the victim.
