The father of Lori Vallow’s missing daughter once accused his estranged wife of violating their custody agreement and keeping Tylee Ryan concealed from her father Joseph Ryan.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Joseph Ryan, who is now deceased, filed a complaint against Vallow in 2006, accusing her of denying him his visitation rights and keeping Tylee hidden for a month.
Ryan died of a reported heart attack in 2018. Tylee and her 7-year-old brother, Joshua “JJ” Vallow, have not been seen since September, and Vallow has refused to cooperate with the police investigation. She is currently jailed in Idaho on felony charges of child desertion.
Weeks after her children were last seen, Vallow married her fifth husband Chad Daybell, whose wife Tammy Daybell died in her sleep in October. Authorities initially determined that Tammy died of natural causes but have reopened the death investigation and exhumed her body for an autopsy.
In July, Vallow’s brother Alex Cox fatally shot her former husband Charles Vallow, claiming self-defense. Cox was never charged in the death, and he died on December, of what authorities recently revealed was a blood clot possibly complicated by preexisting hypertension.
Chad Daybell has not been charged in connection to the children’s disappearance.
