The FBI is now assisting in the investigation of a missing teen who hasn’t been seen in days, NBC 8 reports.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 18-year-old Linda Stoltzfoos was last seen in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, on a farm on Stumptown Road. According to the East Lampeter Township Police Department, the teen attended church services, then vanished.
Stoltzfoos was last seen wearing a white apron, white cape, and a tan dress. She stands 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighs around 125 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
NBC 8 reports that search volunteers and first responders were seen Monday scouring the rural area, surrounded by fields and farms. A K-9 unit was also on scene and first responders are utilizing a drone. The search didn’t provide any clues to the teen’s whereabouts.
“We also know that it is possible that Linda left the area on her own free will. We want Linda to know that if she is watching or listening to this that she is not in any trouble. We’re only concerned for her welfare,” Lt. Matt Hess of the East Lampeter Township Police Department said.
There is no evidence to suggest foul play and authorities are currently treating the case as a missing persons investigation.
Anyone with any information on the teen’s whereabouts should contact the East Lampeter Township Police Department at 717 291-4676., or submit a tip online via Crimewatch.
