A former friend of Lori Vallow has spoken out for the first time about the health of her teenage daughter Tylee Ryan, whose remains were found earlier this month in the backyard of Vallow’s husband Chad Daybell — along with the body of her 7-year-old brother JJ Vallow.
This week, Nancy Grace takes a deep dive into the bizarre, twisted story of Lori Vallow, a once-devoted mother who seemingly turned on her children and other close family members after she became involved in a community preoccupied with the End Times — led by her now-husband.
Part One of “A Lori Vallow Investigation With Nancy Grace” — “Doomsday and Death” — is now available on Fox Nation. In this first installment, Nancy speaks to Vallow’s former friend April Ryan, who knew Vallow and her children when the family lived in Hawaii.
Speaking with Nancy Grace, Ryan shares information about Tylee Ryan’s health that has never been revealed before. Apparently, Vallow’s daughter struggled with mysterious health issues; and according to the friend, doctors were never able to find a diagnosis.
“So, Tylee, she had a lot of health issues and they could never really get to the bottom of [it] …. the doctors couldn’t figure out,” Ryan says on the show.
“Tylee was always sick and she would be in her room resting or sleeping or recovering or just getting back from the doctor when she was younger. They told me that she had had several surgeries to try to figure out what was.”
Asking if Lori Vallow was the primary parent involved in Tylee’s medical treatments, Nancy says:
“I’d be very curious to find the true nature of Tylee Ryan’s ailments and if they were somehow inflicted on her … This is the first time hearing of this and I’m very, very distressed,”
