Chad Daybell is facing new charges in connection to the deaths of his stepchildren Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, whose remains were found on his property in Idaho last month.
EastIdahoNews.com reports that Daybell, who has been in custody since June 9, has been charged with two felony counts of counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.
These new charges are distinct from the two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence that Daybell was charged with in June after the bodies of Lori Vallow’s children were found in his backyard.
According to the report, Daybell will appear for a remote hearing on the new charges on Wednesday at 1 p.m. MDT (3 p.m. ET). You can watch the livestream here.

Earlier this week, Vallow was also hit with new charges in the deaths of her children. On top of two felony counts of child desertion as well as additional misdemeanor charges, Vallow is now facing two counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. A probable cause affidavit released yesterday shows that investigators believe Vallow and Daybell conspired with Vallow’s now-dead brother Alex Cox to destroy evidence they believed would be used against them in court.
