Two suspects busted while planning to meet children for sex: Police

This weekend, police in West Virginia reportedly arrested two men involved in child trafficking and solicitation.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said a multi-agency investigation into child trafficking and soliciting minors resulted in Mark Armstead and Jonathan Vazquez-Gonzales’ arrests.

Armstead, 59, was allegedly caught meeting a 13-year-old boy for sex. Vazquez-Gonzales’ was taken into custody while meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex, police said.

The two suspects were charged with soliciting and traveling to engage in sex with a minor. Police said their investigation is ongoing and additional suspects could face criminal charges.
