A Georgia mother and three men have been arrested after a Snapchat video showed two of the men “horse-playing” with a 6-year-old boy in a manner that seemed “too rough.”
Monroe County deputies said that they received a complaint from someone who viewed the video on May 31 sparked an investigation, according to Fox24. On June 11, they arrested Rhonda Benford, 28; Trentavious Morgan, 19; Jaquavious Bloodser, 20; and Tra’darius Singleton, 23.
The three men were charged with simple battery. Benford, the boy’s mother, was charged with with cruelty to children in the second degree with criminal negligence for allowing the child to be unsupervised and knowing that he was being bullied.
Deputies said the video was also posted to Facebook. They also said the investigation is ongoing and more charges may be forthcoming.
Police did not provide further details about the incident.
