An 11-year-old boy who died in a house fire in Indiana this summer was the victim of a murder-suicide, investigators have determined.
Fox 59 Indianapolis reports that authorities are treating a fatal house fire in July that killed a woman and her son as a murder-suicide.
According to the report, emergency responders arrived to an apartment fire in Indianapolis on July 15 to find a lifeless 43-year-old woman and her 11-year-old son severely injured. The woman, Keiyonna Jones, was pronounced dead at a hospital the same day and the boy, who has not been identified, died two days later.

Authorities have reportedly ruled the boy’s death a homicide, and investigators determined that Jones intentionally set the fire.
A 26-year-old man who has not been publicly identified was injured as the result of the fire, and more than a dozen people in the apartment complex were displaced from their homes, according to Fox 59 Indianapolis.
The investigation is ongoing, but police are not searching for any additional suspects.
