Los Angeles County prosecutors added more sex crime charges to the docket against Ron Jeremy on Wednesday, the second time this summer they’ve amended the complaint against the 67-year-old porn star.
Jeremy, whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, was arraigned on three counts of forcible rape, two counts of forcible oral copulation, and one count each of sexual battery by restraint and assault with intent to commit forcible digital penetration, all of which took place over a 17-year period, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said. As he has to all the previous charges, Jeremy pleaded not guilty.
Jeremy was initially charged with three counts each of forcible rape and forcible penetration by a foreign object and one count each of forcible oral copulation and sexual battery and was arrested in late June. Prosecutors added 20 new charges in August, including lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl, as CrimeOnline previously reported.
According to the new charges, Jeremy is accused of raping a 19-year-old woman during on October 1996 photo shoot, a 26-year-old woman at a party in October 2000, and a 17-year-old girl in 2008. He’s also accused of sexually assaulting a young woman at a strip club in 2002 or 2003, another woman at his home in 2010, and a 38-year-old woman at a bar in January 2013.
The prosecutor’s office said that in total, Jeremy has been charged with 35 counts involving 23 victims spanning from 1996 to 2020.
If convicted on all the charges, prosecutors said, Jeremy faces a maximum of 330 years to life in state prison.
Jeremy is due back in court on December 14 for a preliminary hearing. He’s being held on a $6.6 million bail
