**FOUND SAFE** Missing toddler disappears after mother is taken to hospital: Report

New Mexico police are searching for a toddler girl who disappeared early Monday morning from Naschitti, a community near Gallup.

Alisha Lanell, 2, was last seen with her mother, Deneesha Victor, at a party, but her mother was taken to Gallup Indian Medical Center after “an altercation,” News West 9 reports. Authorities are looking for a woman named Renee Chee, with who the child was reported to be with after her mother left for the hospital.

Police aren’t sure where Chee lives and no physical description of the woman has yet been provided. Authorities believe the toddler may be in danger.

Alisha was last seen wearing a Peppa Pig shirt, blue pants, and black shoes. She also had on a black jacket with orange sleeves, with the word “Love” written on the back.

According to the Gallup Police Department, many details regarding the child’s disappearance are under investigation.
