Two Fort Bragg soldiers were found dead at the base’s training area on Wednesday, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Officials said that the deaths were not connected to official military training, ABC 11 reports.
Officials have not yet released the identifies of the soldiers, pending notification of family members. The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is conducting an investigation into the incident.
“No further information is available at this time due to the sensitive nature of the ongoing investigation and the pending notification of next of kin,” officials said in a news release.
