Surveillance footage appears to show a California restaurant owner protect her daughter and 2-year-old grandson from a customer who became violent because her food was not ready for pickup.
The reported incident occurred last Friday at Panchita’s Pupuseria & Restaurant in San Francisco. Doris Campos, 60, told KRON that she was in the kitchen cooking when she heard a noise and saw the customer fighting with her daughter.
“I still doing with my hands relax, relax and she say ‘I just want to kill your daughter blah blah blah,’” Campos recalled to KNTV.
The customer was filmed throwing a large bottle of hand sanitizer at Campos’ daughter — who was holding her toddler son at the time.
That’s when Campos is seen throwing a bag of food at the customer and flipping a table in the customer’s direction. Campos then uses the flipped table to push the customer out of the restaurant.
KABC reported that the customer eventually left and no one was injured. San Francisco police said they are investigating last week’s incident.
