An Ohio couple was arrested over the weekend after a decomposing body was allegedly found in their home.
The unidentified male, who is believed to have died on or around September 26, was reportedly discovered at Robert Robb, 35, and Kenya Stallworth’s Westwood apartment. The Cincinnati Inquirer reported that the pair attempted to conceal the smell of the rotting corpse by covering it with clothes and sealing the bedroom it was stored in.
WXIX reported that Stallworth, 39, is the mother of Dominic Allen, 19, who was reported missing after last being seen on September 26. In October, Allen’s family said someone claimed the missing teen was possibly spotted running down a road in Ross Township and he appeared to be terrified.
Allen, who remains missing, was not located in Ross Township. The news outlet noted that he does not have a car.
Speaking with WXIX, Allen’s aunt said the teen had gotten off of work and had let a friend know he was at home. That reportedly was the last time anyone heard from him.
“His mother said that he expressed a desire to move out and get his own place,” Allen’s friend told the news station. “He’s a young man wanting to be independent and that sort of thing, so we were hoping that was the case.”
Robb and Stallworth are charged with abuse of a corpse. They both remain jailed on a $100,000 bond.
Authorities have not revealed what led them to the couple’s home this past weekend. Officials have not yet determined the unidentified man’s cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
