Husband kills entire family, including two young children, after posting marriage trouble on Facebook: Police

A Kentucky family is dead after a man complained on Facebook about marriage issues while claiming love for his two sons.

ABC 3 reports that police responded to a home at 195 Smith Lane in Mayfield on Sunday morning and found two children, one woman, and one man inside the residence. All four were dead from gunshot wounds. Graves County Coroner Brad Jones identified the deceased as:

  • Kyle Milliken, 41
  • Ashley Milliken, 35
  • Kjae Milliken, 13
  • Kycohn Millken, 8

Kyle Milliken posted about marriage problems on Facebook the same day he allegedly shot his family. He then turned the gun on himself, according to police.

“I’m still in shock,” Pastor Chad Lamb with Grace Life Church told NBC 6. “It’s just heartbreaking for the community. It’s a well-known family — well-respected family on both sides of their families that they come from. Our community is just grieving right now.”

Lamb said the Millken family were loving and “tremendous.”

Police said there is no danger to the public but didn’t release additional information. The investigation is ongoing.
