A woman is dead and a man has been hospitalized following a domestic incident in Utah on Wednesday.

According to KUTV, police responded to a call about possible shots fired at a home in Springville Wednesday night and forced themselves into the residence, where they found a 43-year-old woman dead of an apparent gunshot wound. A 14-year-old girl at the scene was taken into custody, and suffered unspecified injuries while police detained her. It is unclear from the report if she resisted arrest.

A 23-year-old man was found hiding in a bathroom. He too was taken into custody but was slipping in and out of consciousness as officers detained him, and was transported to a hospital.

It is unclear from the report if the teen girl or the adult male are suspected of having shot the woman.

Police have not identified the suspects or the victim, and their relationship to each other is not yet known.
