An intoxicated Oklahoma mother was arrested Saturday afternoon after convenience store employees called Tulsa police and said she had two children in the backseat of her car, News on 6 reported.
April Meeks, 35, reportedly told officers she had PCP in the vehicle that she planned to sell.
Meeks was booked on two counts of child endangerment, possession of drugs with intent to distribute in the presence of minors, DUI, and obstruction, according to jail records. She’s being held on $60,000 bond and is expected in court on January 22.
Officers responded to the QuikTrip store on US 66 just off Interstate 44 around 3 p.m., jail records show.
Records do not indicate what happened to Meeks’s children.
