Police respond to hangup 911 call, find dead body in home; two others found dead in parked car miles away

Authorities in North Carolina are investigating what police have described as a “domestic incident” that left three people dead and a fourth fighting for their life.

According to Fox8, Yadkin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the location of a 911 call that a caller had disconnected before speaking on Sunday afternoon. No one answered the door at the home, and deputies forced entry after observing what appeared to be a body.

Inside, they found one deceased person and one person with life-threatening injuries, who was taken to a hospital. Police then sought a vehicle of interest, eventually finding it a few miles from the home, with two dead bodies inside.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims or any information about the cause of death. According to the Fox8 report, all four were related, though it is not clear if they lived in the same home. Police reportedly said they are not seeking a suspect, and they believe that the deaths are the result of a domestic violence situation.
