A Wisconsin man was arrested for allegedly shooting a woman on Tuesday.

According to the Milwaukee Patch, the 35-year-old suspect retrieved a handgun in his sleep and opened fire. The 29-year-old woman who was wounded in the ordeal suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to WTMJ, police have referred the incident to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. It is not immediately known what charges the suspect is facing.
