A witness in Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s 2015 defamation lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell said Jeffrey Epstein’s madam directed “a roomful of underage girls to kiss, dance, and touch one another” for her and Epstein’s viewing pleasure, a new tranche of documents released late Wednesday reveal, according to the New York Post.
The witness, whose name was redacted, testified that he saw the now 59-year-old British socialite tell the girls to act “in a sexual way,” according to the documents.
The late night dump included 112 documents and ran to thousands of pages, the Post said. Giuffre’s lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed sum in 2017; Maxwell has been fighting to keep the documents under seal since then, but courts have repeatedly ruled they can be released.
The documents included testimony from Giuffre’s ex-boyfriend, Anthony Figueroa, who told the court that Giuffre told him she “and Ms Maxwell and Jeffrey were all intimate together on multiple occasions” and that they frequently used “strap-ons and dildos.”
Figueroa said he told the FBI “anything they asked me,” but did not recall if he discussed Giuffre’s assertions that Maxwell had forced her to have sex with Prince Andrew.
Another witness testified that Maxwell recruited her from her school campus to have sex with Epstein by claiming she was her personal assistant, and another was said to be “in tears” recalling a 15-year-old girl who claimed Maxwell “stole the young girl’s passport and tried to make her have sex with Epstein and then threatened her.”
According to the documents, Maxwell countered Giuffre’s accusations by branding her a “professional victim,” saying she had an “opioid addiction,” and claiming she was “sexually permissive.” But a witness Maxwell called for the defense testified that he saw Maxwell “escort young girls he brought over to Epstein’s home to Epstein for sex acts” and that Maxwell “called him on the phone, asking him to bring over girls to Epstein’s home,” according to the documents.
While the documents released on Wednesday provided plenty of salacious material, US District Court Judge Loretta Preska has not yet released Maxwell’s own deposition from the Giuffre lawsuit, which reportedly includes intimate details of her sex life.
Maxwell is being held without bail in a federal detention center after pleading not guilty in July to six counts of sex trafficking and perjury. Her trial is expected to begin this summer.
Convicted pedophile Epstein, 66, died of an apparent suicide in jail in August 2019 awaiting his own sex trafficking trial.
