On October 19, 2019, 49-year-old Tammy Daybell was found dead by her then-husband Chad Daybell. Though accounts vary, it is known that she was either observed on the bed or on the floor immediately adjacent to her side of the bed.
One report states that Tammy’s daughter, Emma, saw her mother laying down with pink froth issuing from her nose and mouth, possibly streaked with blood. Tammy Daybell’s body was removed from the scene with no estimation of body temperature, presence of rigor mortis, or assessment of injuries.
Tammy was simply removed to the funeral home…no blood was drawn…no urine was collected and worst of all NO AUTOPSY. Tammy was quickly embalmed and transported the nearly 300 miles distant Springville, Utah where she was buried.
Nearly ten weeks later on December 9, Tammy Daybell’s body was exhumed and finally autopsied at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Utah. For over a year we have waited for the results of Tammy’s examination and finally, they have been released, but only to the prosecutor and sheriff. What did they find?
