Accused murderer Quake Lewellyn is competent to stand trial in the death of nurse Sydney Sutherland. The Arkansas farmer’s attorney had asked for a mental evaluation.
Arkansas State Hospital forensic psychologist Lacey Willett examined Lewellyn in January and writes, “It is my opinion that at the time of the alleged conduct, Mr. Lewellyn did not manifest symptoms of a mental disease or mental defect.”
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Sutherland’s confessed killer was charged with multiple counts, including murder, kidnapping, and abuse of a corpse. Lewellyn reportedly knew who Sutherland was, as the two went to high school together.
