Police in South Carolina are searching for a teen girl who has not been seen since Wednesday.

According to WLTX, 16-year-old Jasmine Natalie Hiers was reported missing on Thursday. She was last seen at her home at about 8 p.m. the night before.

Investigators reportedly believe Jasmine is in the Charleston area, but the circumstances of her disappearance are not known.

When she was last seen, Jasmine was wearing a loose black shirt, black pants, and carrying a black backpack.
