The Southern Regional Police Department says, “Michelle Shearer had been located and is safe. The Southern Regional Police Department would like to thank everyone for their assistance and concern in locating Mrs. Shearer.”

New York authorities are searching for a 43-year-old woman who disappeared on Thursday.
York Dispatch reports that Michele Shearer was last seen around 6 a.m. on Thursday morning. The New Freedom woman could be in a 2013 black Ford Explorer Pennsylvania license plate, JDS-4398. Police said Shearer may be in danger.
Anyone with information on Shearer’s whereabouts should contact Southern Regional Police at 717-235-3944, or 911, or York County dispatch at 717-554-5571.
