Pennsylvania authorities are searching for a missing woman who police say vanished near a hiking trail and hasn’t been heard from since.
WGAL reports that 29-year-old Nicole Elizabeth Ebaugh was last seen near Glatfelters Station Road in North Codorus Township, at the Glatfelters Station Road Parking Area on Saturday, from around 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Officials said they found the area by using Ebaugh’s cellphone GPS after her family reported her missing. Police located her vehicle, a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, in the trail parking area.
Ebaugh is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-4-inches tall with light brown shoulder-length hair. Her hair could be in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing dark pants with white stripes and a black and white checkered jacket.
Authorities said they have no reason to believe at this time that foul play is involved.
“Her disappearance does not appear to be suspicious or criminal in nature at this time,” Trooper Kevin Kochka said Monday, according to the York Dispatch.
“We are continuing our investigation and are following the leads that we have developed….At the end of the day, we have a missing 29-year-old, and the family, community, and investigators are very worried.”
Anyone with information about Ebaugh’s whereabouts should contact PSP York at 717-428-1011 immediately.
