Michigan authorities are searching for a man accused of impersonating a police officer and conducting a traffic stop on a female driver.

On March 18, authorities arrived at an area of H-40 and Krause Road in Garfield Township, after a man in an unmarked blue Chevrolet Tahoe equipped with emergency lights and spotlights pulled a woman over. According to police, the man presented himself as a police officer and made the female driver perform a sobriety test.

9&10 News reports that the victim described the suspect as a white male wearing all blue. He stands around 5-foot-10-inches tall and appeared to be in his 20s or 30s. The victim said she didn’t know the suspect.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office tip line at (906) 643-1165 or Central Dispatch at (906) 495-2142.
