Six family members were found dead in what investigators believe is a murder-suicide perpetrated by two brothers.

According to Fox News 4, police in Allen, Texas, responded to a home on Pine Bluff for a requested welfare check early Monday morning.

Inside, they found two parents, three adult children, and their grandmother shot to death.

The friend who called police reportedly feared that one of the couple’s sons was suicidal. Police now believe that two brothers who were found dead at the scene plotted the murder-suicide together.

One of the brothers reportedly left a message explaining what was going to happen. It is unclear where he left the message.

Authorities have not yet identified any of the deceased.
