Police in Florida are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl who went missing this past weekend.
News4Jax.com reports that Tristyn Bailey’s family reported her missing at about 10 a.m. Sunday morning and last saw the 13-year-old at midnight at her home in St. Johns.
Bailey reportedly left home after midnight and was seen at about 1 a.m. at an amenities center in the Durbin Crossing neighborhood of St. Johns.

According to the report, police began searching for Tristyn on Sunday and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert late Sunday afternoon.
Within hours, Tristyn was found dead. St. Johns County Sheriff Robert Hardwick made the announcement at 8 p.m. Sunday, according to the report.
Police have not yet released further details about the circumstances of Tristyn’s death, including where or how her body was found.
It is unclear if investigators are seeking any suspects.
