Authorities in northwestern Indiana have launched a missing persons investigation for a Valparaiso woman and her 4-year-old daughter.

The Porter County Sheriff’s Office said that Jessica Allison, 22, and Aislin Grace Allison spoke with Jessica’s husband via video at about 7 p.m. on Friday.

The husband, a long-haul trucker, was out of state at the time of the call. Jessica and Aislin Grace haven’t been seen or heard from since that video call.

Further details have not been released.

Police ask anyone with information to call 911 or Porter County Central Communications at 219-477-3170.
