Arizona authorities rescued three small children after their mother was found deceased inside an apartment on Monday evening.
Fox 10 reports that the incident happened on May 17 at the Tides on 19th apartment complex in Phoenix, off of 19th Avenue and Camelback Road. Police arrived to find two small children, ages 2 and 3, outside on the porch. The officers went to the apartment after someone reported a child on the porch crying without adult supervision.
When officers looked inside the home, they found a female victim deceased with signs of trauma on her body.
A 4-week-old baby was inside the apartment with the slain woman. Investigators said the victim was the mother of all three children, and that none of the children were physically injured.
At this time, the victim’s name has not been released and there is no information yet regarding a suspect.
Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to contact the Phoenix police at 602-262-6151.
