Police in Pennsylvania said a shooting on Tuesday night left one woman dead and another woman wounded.
According to WPVI, two women, ages 33 and 36, were sitting on steps in front of a Philadelphia home when they were shot. The 36-year-old victim, who reportedly was shot in the legs and arms is in critical condition but is expected to survive. The second victim was shot in the face, torso, and chest and ultimately died from her injuries.
While officials have not publicly identified the two victims, WPVI reported that they may be sisters.
Two dozen shots were fired during Tuesday’s shooting and officers recovered several shell casings which came from two guns.
WTXF reported that both victims were shot at close range. Authorities reportedly believe one or both women were the intended targets.
No arrests have been made.
