The family of a missing Pennsylvania woman has hired a private investigator to look into her mysterious disappearance.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 26-year-old Cassandra Jones was last seen on July 10 in Philadelphia. Jones, who lives in Southhampton and is a student at Temple University, had been visiting a friend near Philadelphia’s Chinatown neighborhood and left that residence early in the morning of July 10, a Saturday.
Investigators reportedly found her phone at or near the residence, and authorities have released surveillance images of her vehicle approaching I-95 around 6 a.m. July 10. Jones’ car, a silver 2016 Ford Focus, has not been seen since.
According to CBS Philadelphia, Johnston’s family has hired a private investigator to help search for her. Police have not yet commented on whether they believe foul play may be involved in the young woman’s disappearance.
Anyone with information is urged to call Lower Southampton police at 215-357-1235 ext 339.
