Two years after Jeffrey Epstein died of an apparent suicide in a Manhattan jail cell, another victim had come forward alleging that he raped her at his Manhattan townhouse when she was 17.
According to court documents obtained by the New York Post, the unidentified woman claims that Epstein “sexually assaulted, abused, battered and raped her on at least two, separate occasions at his home” at his home on the Upper East Side in 2003.
The accuser filed a claim in accordance with the New York Child Victim’s Act’s “look-back window,” which entitled victims of child sexual abuse to seek damages beyond the statute of limitations.
In the lawsuit reportedly filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, the woman said she “suffered, and continues to suffer from, extreme mental distress, humiliation, anguish, emotional and physical injuries, as well as economic losses.”
Epstein was a convicted pedophile when he was found hanged in a jail cell while awaiting trial for federal sex trafficking charges.
