A 64-year-old woman in Connecticut was abducted Saturday night by two men who assaulted her, robbed her, and drove her nearly 25 miles away in her own car before setting her free.
The victim’s car was later found on fire at a business in Berlin, not far from where she’d been released.
WTNH said the woman, who has not been identified, was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Connecticut State Police said the woman had just left a Marlborough business and was getting into her car when the two men approached, wearing COVID-type face masks and demanding money.
The Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad is investigating.
