A Missouri dad has been charged with murder following the death of his 8-month-old daughter last month.

The Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney Office said the little girl was found dead on August 20 while she was in the care of Dillon Snider, 24.  An autopsy determined she died from violent trauma to the head and neck, KOMU reported.

Snider was charged with abuse of a child resulting in death and first degree endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death, as well as second degree murder.

A judge issued a warrant for Snider’s arrest and set his bond at $1 million, but he is currently jailed in neighboring Miller County on unrelated charges.

Crocker Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Patrol are investigating this case.
